About Laundry Like Home

Laundry Like Home opened its doors in July 2011. It is managed by a Cambodian-Belgian couple. A good western laundry service was missing in Siem Reap. After finding a good location in Wat Bo street and seeing the potential in this business "Laundry Like Home" was born.

There are a lot of laundry shops in Siem Reap but almost all of them wash by hand and dry the clothes on the street. Often things get lost or it was not completely clean. Tired of looking for a good laundry service the idea grew to open a laundry shop where you clothes will be treated like your mum would do. The name "Laundry Like Home" natural flew out of this.

We choose to open the shop in Wat Bo street because it is known by most people and surrounded with many guesthouses and others businesses. Ask any Cambodian, expat or tourist, Wat Bo street can be easily found.

We want to provide the best laundry service as possible to our customers. Therefore we use good quality machines and dryers. Any special request can be addressed and we will take care of your laundry with precise caution.

  • Lada,
We just returned from our afternoon excursion, and we opened the laundry bag to put away the contents. My wife and I were so impressed with the beautiful job done by you and your staff at Laundry Like Home!!! I will be sure to write a very positive review about your laundry services on TripAdvisor.com. Hopefully, more western tourists will use your laundry services in the future.Thank you once again for your time, patience and professional service.
    Take care, Mark
  • We also used these guys a few weeks ago, very pleased with the service. They came to our hotel to collect the washing and dropped it all off clean and neatly folded. Very pleased with the service and price.
  • We used this laundry yesterday. Excellent service and they delivered it all fully ironed to our Hotel (which is probably the furthest hotel from them). We had 26 items laundered and it cost us $13.50. In comparison our hotel would have charged $52.50 for the same items. We recommend them wholeheartedly.
  • This place does good work. I had researched prior to our visit and compared prices with our hotel (very $$) and a local place they recommended. We opted for same day, pick up/delivery for $21 US. Perfect. Clothes smelled fresh, folded and delivered in plastic bags. I was in email contact with them and requested cold wash and low heat tumble dry. I highly recommend them.

Ask any Siem Reap expat, and they’ll lament a favourite shirt, dress, skirt or top that was ruined at the hands of a bristled brush and a bottle of bleach. Laundry has been a long-standing issue for both westerners and native Reapers alike, but three business-savvy Belgians are here to change all that. Read the article in the Phnom Penh Post
